Position Title
Vendor Partner Manager
As the dedicated advocate for allocated vendor partners, this role is the key conduit for collaboration between vendors, cross-functional colleagues and retail channel partners, strategically positioning vendor brands. Responsible for defining, measuring and delivering to category success factors, the role combines all elements of the marketing mix - creating cohesive plans, go-to-market strategy and brand building to achieve volume and revenue growth. A strong commercial lens and effective market analysis will inform decisions and recommendations, with relevant data and metrics the foundation of effective reporting.

You're an experienced FMCG marketer, with broad exposure including Trade Marketing, Category Management, Shopper Intelligence and Key Accounts Management. An effective negotiator, your style is collaborative and you know the benefits of durable partnerships. Both strategic and tactical, you are confident in your 'commercials', using data and information to impactfully engage with distribution channel partners and internal sales/supply chain colleagues to achieve premium outcomes for the vendor brands you represent.

Key Account Manager

We are looking for an exceptional Key Account Manager to join our Sales Team and further their career in sales.

Work with exceptional leading brands within the FMCG industry.

Our customer is changing the way they work, and we are looking for someone to take on this challenge and drive the business.

This is an important and exciting role in our business, in which the successful candidate will be responsible for the achievement of both the financial and operational targets as part of the Diplomat NZ team.

You will

  • Build and maintain relationships.
  • Manage different aspects of the account.
  • Align Diplomat strategy to the customer.
  • Conduct effective and accurate forecasting and planning.
  • Attend and represent the business at selected specialty trade shows and retailer conferences.
  • Review and validate the marketing expenditure, trading terms and promotional grid
  • Have experience in sales and account management
  • Be a team player with a roll up your sleeves and get the job done attitude
  • Enjoy being part of a winning team
  • Be driven tenacious with an eye for detail
  • Work with a Manager who is experienced with a collaborative style in a growing office in Takapuna
  • Have working from home flexibility
