Diplomat entered the New Zealand market in 2016, expanding our footprint to the Asia-Pacific region.

As a key new market for the worldwide Diplomat Group, we see New Zealand as the gateway to Asia-Pacific markets. Our aim is to drive value and provide customers with full-service fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) supply chain solutions to become their preferred choice.

We have expanded rapidly in New Zealand by providing winning sales and distribution solutions that make us our customer’s preferred supplier. Our approach to doing business is adapted to Kiwi market structures and needs by leverage the Group’s know-how, proven processes and 50-year heritage of excellence.

Our customer-centric approach includes a flexible and agile organizational structure with strong trade marketing and sales services supported by advanced technologies. We provide joint business planning, and exclusive distribution for P&G products in grocery, pharmacy, department store and electronic goods channels.

Based on our global experience working with the pharmacy channel, we have optimized our service model in New Zealand while investing heavily in people and capabilities. As a result, we have improved our level of service and succeeded in establishing a strategic relationship with Green Cross, the leading pharmacy chain in New Zealand. This is reflected in the results of the pharmacy channel.

As our market coverage expands in New Zealand, more brands will be added to our portfolio in hair, beauty, health and grooming categories.
