Career Development
A Career, Not a Job
With five fully-owned business units located in Israel, Georgia, South Africa, Cyprus and New Zealand, we offer a broad range of opportunities worldwide. This can include relocation between business units, which we view as a significant win-win for both employees and our Group.
No matter where they are in the world, our employees share our Diplomat culture and values. At Diplomat, you will be surrounded by like-minded colleagues who support each other, share ideas and knowledge, and together contribute to the company and our lasting success.
To do this, we focus on promoting from within. At Diplomat, career development is planned around preparing employees for future roles and leadership opportunities within our company. Managers with the potential to grow are identified early. They receive career planning for future roles and assignments to support those roles.
This includes unique cross-organizational and broad-based training to develop on multiple levels, such as interpersonal skills, negotiations, communications and professional skills. This is how we translate our values into reality, and ensure satisfied customers while growing our business.
We leverage the combined experience gathered by our business units across the globe. This means we provide our employees with cutting-edge tools, knowledge and enhanced support. At the beginning of each year, management defines a yearly plan for each employee, tailored to their needs, to support them in reaching their career goals within Diplomat.
Complementing our in-house training, we have a “train-the-trainer” program where employees learn how to be trainers in their fields of expertise. This enables broad knowledge and experience sharing within our organization.
Our managers enjoy a dedicated development plan tailored to their needs, and focused on specific skills needed to manage teams. On top of this, we have a dedicated management development program for high potential managers.
In order to support our future growth, we are investing in developing the next generation of Diplomat leadership. We do this by carefully evaluating key roles at Diplomat, the strengths and expectations of our employees currently in those roles, and our expectation of future career tracks of those employees.
Through our ongoing performance evaluation process, we identify employees with high potential who can be future successors to our leadership team. If no such candidates are available for specific roles, we recruit top talents into our Group who can take on these assignments.
These key employees are given focused assignments and training to prepare them to take on their expected future roles. In this way, we support our business development while ensuring a strong future.
